A long-time admirer of the works of Félix Leclerc, Paul Simon and Tex Lecor, Mark Lefebvre immerses us in a world where he attempts to make his way through the challenges, the heartaches and the joys of life to reveal their essence. His warm voice serves to anchor his lyrics, at times heavy, at times lighthearted.

Whether it is through his visual art, as a storyteller or as a singer-songwriter, Mark invites us along in his quest for what is real by intensifying the colours of everyday life to go beyond the background noise. Raised near a swamp between Moonbeam and Kapuskasing in North-Eastern Ontario, Mark is as much a child of nature as he is a witness to life…
